Profile of the author and illustrator
Mary Griggion, born in 1955, writer, screenwriter and director. She has written numerous books for children and young people, among them: Il Pitone, Lo Scarafaggino Golia, La Popolazione del terzo occhio and Il quadro segreto 1° e 2° vol.,(La Rondine Edizioni) For Edizioni Il Ciliegio she has published: Martina e i capricci, Il drago di Manipiccole, Linzichichè il succo migliore che c’è, La Regina. With Daniela Piazza Editore she has published Il Principe dei tarocchi novel for teens. She has also directed three feature films: Balla per me (2008) – Sotto lo stesso cielo (2011 acclaimed with awards) and Il Principe dei tarocchi (2019) based on the novel of the same name. Chiara Revetria is a young illustrator of Ligurian origin, currently a student at the International School of Comics in Turin. She has always drawn for passion since she was a child and, after collaborating with some small businesses in the area, she decided to give a concrete chance to art by enrolling in the illustration course she still attends. This is her first experience in the world of publishing and illustration for children.
