Profile of authors – artists

Simona Balma Mion, illustrator, painter and 2D animator, obtains the Higher Four-year Diploma of illustration at the European Institute of Design in 1993. In 1997 she participated in a European Project as an assistant to the course of narrative illustration and image communication at the Institut Saint Luc in Liège. Since 1995 she has been involved in training activities with workshops in schools and since 2002 she is a Teacher of Art Teaching for Fondazione Mus-e Italia, an international project on the teaching of Art in primary and nursery schools. She has collaborated with the Teatro Ragazzi in Turin, creating animated sets for the theatrical shows Apriti Sesamo, Marameo, La Piccola Foresta and with Compagnia Tecnologia Filosofica with the shows Maus, La Montagna dei sette Vetri, Azzurra coma la neve, Umani si diventa.

Angelo Di Vito, actor and professional director, trained at the Teatro di Settimo Torinese school and attended DAMS in Turin. He has gained varied experiences, in collaboration with important realities of the Turin scene and is active in the field of theater training since 1997. Collaborates with the Mus-e Italia Foundation international project on the teaching of art in elementary and nursery schools, since 2006 within the design and implementation of theatrical training courses and reading aloud. He also specializes in intercultural theatre teaching, an area in which he has a rich and recognized experience. Active supporter of the educational theory of Value Creation by Makiguchi, pioneer of creative education. Nature and outdoor lover who also uses for educational activities as well as a source of inspiration.
