Author’s profile
Francesco Caligiuri, saxophonist, arranger, composer, taught Jazz ensemble music at the Conservatory of Genoa. He currently teaches Jazz saxophone at the Lecce Conservatory. The magazine Musica Jazz ranked him among the best and innovative Italian Jazz talents of 2022. He has arranged for various jazz ensembes and small jazz orchestras. He has played in Italy and abroad with Sclavis, Godard, D’Andrea, Nada, Giovanardi, Manuel Agnelli, Damiani, Colombo, Minafra, Succi, Falzone, Fioravanti, Pisani. He has recorded CDs for Dodicilune, Alfa Music, Emme Records, Warner Chappel Music, Record Norway.
