Author’s profile

Juan Mariano Porta, composer, guitarist, trombonist and musicologist from Argentina. After graduating in guitar, trombone and music education in his hometown he moved to Padua to continue his studies in Musicology and Composition, which alternates teaching guitar and solfeggio. As a composer he has received several awards at the competitions Gramazio Metallo, Alea III, Musiche dal Sud del mondo, Le città invisibili Project. As musicologist, he deals with the musical edition of the works of Giuseppe Tartini.
